|My daughter read our special story this year… what a fantastic reader!
This year was especially memorable because both kids helped decorate the tree. Last year, my little guy tried to help… but the stress of a three-year-old hanging breakable ornaments was, well… stressful!
In the past, I tried to capture my family’s Christmas memories on a point-and-shoot camera, but I’ve never been able to get a good picture of the tree all lit up. The lights always looked fuzzy and blurry, making the images less than desirable. This year, however, I was able to take all of the shots I wanted and they all turned out, thanks to my trusty Nikon D3300 DSLR. I got a new zoom lens, too, which allowed me more range than my 35mm portrait lens.

|We are huge fans of the movie Wall-E, so this is one of the kids’ favorites
|My kids love seeing this vintage Christmas village at their grandparents’ house every year!
All of these mementos and special traditions are the icing on the cake at Christmastime.
