Hasbro for the Holidays {#Giveaway}

This year, just in time for the holiday season, I gave my kids a job – to help me review some of Hasbro’s hottest toys of 2014!

Their favorites included awesome new toys from Transformers Rescue Bots and My Little Pony Equestria Girls (both big on last year’s list, too), and we had some notably fun additions this year. Read on to see what made the cut!


Sesame Street Racers

With cute characters that kids know and love, Playskool’s Sesame Street
Racers are perfect
for little ones who love to zoom around. They’re the ideal size for
little hands and help toddlers learn manual dexterity and coordination.
With eight characters available, in 2-pack sets, there’s lots of
opportunity for your little one to start rollin’ with their favorite
friend. Tip: these make great stocking stuffers. 🙂

Mr. Potato Head Marvel Mixable Mashable Iron Man

This
is a great first super hero toy for little ones. Everyone knows Mr.
Potato Head… now he’s available as Iron Man, Spider-man, Transformers
and more! My four-year-old loved playing with this, but then wanted to
move on to the “big kid Mashers” (see below). In turn, I’d recommend this for ages
2-4.

Marvel Super Hero Mashers

Marvel Mashers are the
hottest new toys for fans of super hero figures. Kids love being able to
combine arms, legs, tools and accessories from their favourite good guys
(and bad guys!) to form cool new characters, or simply give their heroes new powers.

Littlest Pet Shop Style Set

As
with
many toy lines these days, Littlest Pet Shop (LPS) is not just about toys… there’s an online game, webisodes, and more. Needless to say, my daughter is enamoured with the quirky, lovable LPS characters and thinks this Style Set is perfect for re-enacting her favorite scenes. There are many more sets as well which, conveniently, stack on top of each other for easy storage.


Transformers Rescue Bots Optimus Primal

Transformers
Rescue Bots were part of my Holiday Gift Guide last year, and they are
still a huge hit. My son loves all of the characters – and now there’s
more to love with their line of Dino Bots. This Optimus Primal is very
cool… makes lots of sounds and even converts from a robot to a T-Rex!
If you’ve got a Rescue Bots fan, they’re sure to love this.

Nerf Rebelle Secrets & Spies Messenger

My
daughter loves playing spies with her friends, and now there’s a fun Nerf blaster that makes it even more fun – the Messenger, part of their Secrets & Spies line. It does exactly as the name implies… sends secret messages! The darts can be opened up, written on with a special pen, then decoded by the recipient. 

My Little Pony Equestria Girls – Rainbow Rocks Editions

We are huge fans of MLP! As my daughter has grown, so has the brand, with the introduction of the Equestria Girls line last year. The latest incarnation has the girls dressed up and ready to rock out! We love the fun outfits and the even cooler accessories. Tip: these make great stocking stuffers!

    My son would love the Transformers Rescue Bots Optimus Primal because right now he thinks it's so awesome that cars can be transformed into robots.

    My son loves Transformers. I think it's because they're like two toys in one and if he's bored of playing with them one way he can change them.

    Littlest Pet Shop and Mr Potato Head are my kids' favourites because they love animals and the little pets are so cute, and because they love to create very silly potato heads. They play with both for hours on end.

    I forgot to say why he loves transformers. He loves transformers because he loves to change them back and forth plus he loves to fight the bad guys!

    My sons favorite is definately anything transformers. They have been his favorite for several years now and my daughters favorite would be the my little pony equestria girls!
