Despicable Me 2 is a Must-See Family Movie this Holiday! #DM2 #FFMGiftGuide {#Giveaway}

The holidays create the perfect storm for family time – the weather gets chillier, the days get shorter, comfort food is on the menu and movies encourage everyone to snuggle in!I’m always on the lookout for a great new DVD to add to our family movie night roster, so my ears perked up when I heard that this year’s #1 comedy was coming out just in time for the holidays.


On December 10th,  Despicable Me 2 arrives on Blu-ray™ and Blu-ray 3D™ Combo Packs, as well as DVD and Digital HD including UltraViolet™from Universal Studios Home Entertainment. I’m super-excited about the bonus features in the Combo Packs – three all-new mini-movies starring the film series’ breakout stars, the mischievous but lovable Minions.  I don’t know about you, but those little guys crack my kids up! We all loved the first installment in the series and I know we’ll love the second.

About the movie…

 

Gru, his adorable girls, and the mischievous Minions are back with a cast of unforgettable new characters in the blockbuster sequel to the worldwide phenomenon.  Just as Gru has given up being super-bad to be a super-dad, the Anti-Villain League recruits him to track down a new criminal mastermind and save the world.   Partnered with secret agent Lucy Wilde, Gru, along with the wildly unpredictable Minions, must figure out how to keep his cover while also keeping up with his duties as a father.

If you love an action-packed adventure as much as my family, you’ll want to see this movie! It makes a great stocking stuffer and would be the perfect movie to cozy in with on Boxing Day! (If you’re travelling, put Despicable Me 2 in the car’s video player and you shouldn’t hear a peep from the back seat for over an hour!)
