Angry Birds Star Wars Jenga Games Are HOT!! #FFMGiftGuide {Review & #Giveaway}

Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock as of late, you’ve probably heard of a little franchise called Angry Birds. My kids are completely addicted to it and love each new incarnation of the game. Their favourites at the moment are Angry Birds Star Wars I and II. While we *do* limit their screen time, so that they’re not playing video games all day, I must admit that even I like Angry Birds. From the “toons” that accompany the games (which are hilarious to watch), to the myriad branded merchandise (t-shirts, underwear, PJs, pens, stuffed toys… you name it, they make it), Angry Birds are hot!

So it comes as no surprise that my kids’ favourite video games are now available as real-life games, just in time for the holidays. The wonderful folks at Hasbro sent us two Angry Birds Star Wars Jenga games to review –  Rise of Darth Vader and TIE Fighter, which include such popular characters as Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, Yoda, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Darth Maul and more… plus a whole whack of those naughty piggies! In these games, the objective is to catapult your figures to hit and knock down a wall of stacked pieces (shaped like either Darth Vader’s mask or a TIE Fighter).

Both of these games made my kids squeal with laughter each time they knocked the “bad guys” down with one of the “good guys”. And, apart from all the silliness, I like how the games help with their depth perception and fine motor skills. After all, it takes precision to line up a figure, launch it and hit a target!

These games are super-cute and if you have an Angry Birds Star Wars fan in the house, they will get hours of enjoyment out of trying to defeat the evil Darth Vader and his crew.

    My nephew's favourite Star Wars character is Luke Skywalker and he loves Angry Birds so I'm assuming Luke Skywalker bird would be his favourite.

    my son likes the darth vader one ( i don't play angry birds so not sure what the angry bird name would be, and he just calls him the black one)
