What's Big, Pink and Touring North America? #BarbieIsMoving

Did you know Barbie is moving? Yes, it’s true! The dream house no longer cuts it, so Barbie is moving on to greener pastures.

And the best part? Her fans get to come along for the ride! (Oh, and did I mention, it’s FREE?)

I’ve loved Barbie from the time I was little and my daughter now adores her, too. So when I read on my friend’s blog that Barbie is taking her show on the road, I knew we had to go! Last Friday, we were lucky enough to experience all the fun on her Toronto stop.

From the out-of-this-world face painting, to walking the runway (complete with professional photo to download), and building our very own Mega Bloks scene for Barbie’s new digs, it was a fabulous experience. Kids were also treated to a special gift of a Mega Bloks Barbie mini figure and accessories so they could continue playing in Barbie’s world at home.

My kids had so much fun, even in the sweltering heat, that they asked (repeatedly) if we could go back again on the weekend. (I wish I could bottle whatever magical powers Barbie has… they would come in handy when I’m trying to get the kids to eat their veggies at dinner time. 😉

One thing is for sure – Barbie really knows how to throw a party!
