Family-friendly Dining Made Fun at Boston Pizza! #BPKidsProgram {Review & Giveaway}

November 11, 2012 by fabfrugalmama

If you have a toddler or preschooler, you know how difficult it can be to dine out with them. It’s not that they’re always bad little diners… it’s more that you don’t know when they’ll *choose* to be. It’s pretty hit or miss, so we don’t go out very often.

But, when we do,  Boston Pizza is up there on our list of family-friendly restaurants we can count on for good food, quick service (a must with kids!), good prices and stuff to keep the kids occupied. Try getting all four of those requirements met at most restaurants!!

So, when we were invited by PTPA last weekend to join them for a fabulous lunch and to check out the newly relaunched Kids Program at Boston Pizza, we couldn’t pass it up!

With a menu chock full of new dishes (courtesy of a new executive head chef), an improved kids menu and fun activities for them (new checkers & match game cards, along with the usual colouring book and crayons), Boston Pizza makes dining out with little ones not only do-able, but enjoyable!

The new menu

After a visit with the cute BP mascot, Lionel, and a yummy appetizer of Cactus Chips and dip, I enjoyed the brand new Chipotle Chicken Club sandwich and was very impressed – so tasty!! My son ordered his usual, mini cheeseburgers, and couldn’t seem to get enough of the fries that accompanied them. My lovely table mates couldn’t help but comment on the fact that my toddler sat nicely playing with his activities for almost an hour…although I think having a visit from Lionel and the Treehouse channel playing on the TV may have helped a bit. 😉

We loved our experience so much that we went to Boston Pizza on Friday night! Mama did *not* want to cook… and no one was complaining! I took the liberty of trying their bellini and it did not disappoint.

If you’ve got a location near you, check it out!! Now, dining out with your kids can be enjoyable!! And here’s a fab bonus – donate $5 to the Boston Pizza Foundation, which raises funds for charities across Canada, and you’ll receive a Kids Card good for 5 free kids’ meals (with the purchase of a $14 adult meal).

If you’d like to try out the Boston Pizza family dining experience for yourself, enter below to win your very own Kids Card! Thanks to Boston Pizza for this prize, valued at $35. 🙂

Disclosure – I received complimentary food and beverages in order to facilitate this review. As always, I only recommend products or services that I love and that I think would be good for my readers.

    We like to visit Boston Pizza when we go out of town as we don't have one where we live. It's a great place to go with kids when travelling.
