When someone touches your heart, they’re with you forever. And, when that someone is your child, who is taken from you at a young age, you do everything in your power to keep his memory alive. That is certainly the case for a wonderful, courageous and strong woman named Heather Oliver-Hamilton, who lost her sweet boy Zack last March.
Zack, who was born with a congenital heart defect and a chromosomal deletion, loved Elmo. In his memory, his family has worked tirelessly to create Zack’s Dream Room at York Central Hospital, where their son spent much of his time. Their goal was to raise $25,000… and through the kindness and support of many, they’ve managed to raise over $44,000 to date.
