My kitchen isn’t always the tidiest, but I always try to ensure that the stove and countertops are clean. Considering the amount of use that my dishcloth gets, I really don’t want to take chances that I’m spreading around a ton of bacteria, right? So, instead of laundering my cloth every few days (because, let’s be honest, who needs more laundry?), I use a great tip from my mother-in-law. Simply place your dishcloth into a microwave-safe bowl, partially fill it with water and ensure the cloth is well saturated. Then, microwave it on high for 2-3 minutes (or until it is steaming). Remove it and let the cloth cool – or rinse it with cold water if you wish to use it right away. Now you’ve got yourself a sanitized dishcloth that’s fit to see another (very messy) day!

P.S. Yes, I realize I posted this on a Wednesday… let’s just chalk it up to sleep deprivation! 😉
